ICAN Foundation · Level 1

ICAN Foundation Tuition — Your First Step to Chartered

A 16-week online programme that turns first-time candidates into confident exam takers, one paper at a time.

The ICAN Foundation level is where your journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant begins. It introduces the language of business — the double entry, the frameworks, the law — and sets the foundation everything else stands on.

PPT's Foundation programme is built for candidates who want to pass on the first sitting. Our tutors don't rush through slides; they teach the way an examiner marks, walking you through the exact way ICAN wants questions answered.

  • 16 weeks of structured live tuition
  • 3 evening sessions per week + Saturday tutorial
  • Financial Accounting from first principles
  • Business Law with Nigerian case examples
  • Management Information with worked exam questions
  • Monthly marked mock exams with personalised feedback

What you'll cover

  • Financial Accounting (FA): conceptual framework, double entry, adjustments, final accounts, cash flows.
  • Business Law (CBL): Nigerian legal system, contract, agency, sale of goods, company law essentials.
  • Management Information (MI): costing, budgeting, decision-making, performance measurement.
  • Business, Management & Finance (BMF): business environment, organisational structure, strategy fundamentals.

How the 16 weeks are structured

Weeks 1–10 cover the syllabus in depth. Weeks 11–14 are dedicated to past-question practice with tutor-led walkthroughs. Weeks 15–16 are pure revision and full timed mocks in ICAN's exam format. By the last week you'll have sat every subject at full exam length at least twice.

Who this is for

University students planning to sit Foundation alongside their degree, HND holders targeting professional certification, career switchers moving into finance, and anyone who wants a coached, structured route to their first ICAN pass.
